3 Steps To Keep Your

Greens Great

Take these simple steps to enjoy crispy fresh salad and greens while aboard.

  1. Be careful placing leafy veggies in the fridge. If the leaves touch the metal sides or floor of the fridge, they may freeze!
  2. Take the time to put your greens in a plastic sealable storage container if you are not using them immediately (it will protect the greens better than plastic bag will). Place absorbent paper or a clean cloth on the top and bottom of the container to surround the greens and keep them dry.
  3. Plan your meals! Eat raw greens first, make cooked greens the star of the show after a week, and finally use any greens left as ingredient/accents after 10 days.
