    ColdEh™ calculates estimated energy savings by comparing test system run-time rates and the average rates noted by leading refrigeration system providers. Our rigorous tests have been performed in 70F/21C and 120F/49C ambient environments. The result? 30% energy consumption savings.

     

    What makes ColdEh systems energy efficient?

    ColdEh Systems have more copper than any other marine refrigeration.

    Copper is first choice for high thermal conductivity, operating almost 90% more efficient than aluminum when transferring heat from the air to refrigerant (and 30X better than stainless steel).

    That is why ColdEh’s exclusive custom-copper evaporator plate design is a refrigeration heat transfer platform that removes heat more efficiently, so your system cools down quickly and stays cool, saving you energy (perfect for solar applications).

    How do changing weather and ambient temperature condition effect ColdEh™energy use?

    As the ambient temperature increases your ColdEh™ refrigeration system automatically increases the rate it exchanges heat with its surroundings. The unique high-efficiency copper components work with a Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) to deliver consistent performance even as temperatures soar and your foodstuffs load and use increase.

    It takes very little energy to maintain constant compartment temperature.

    The air-cooled condensing unit runs quietly and efficiently, eliminating the power draw experienced

    with auxiliary pumps found in water-cooled refrigeration systems.
